Does KASNEB Have a WhatsApp Number?

KASNEB’s official contacts page does not list a WhatsApp number. It lists phone lines, email addresses and its social media accounts. Be careful with WhatsApp numbers shared in student groups that claim to be KASNEB, especially ones offering to “fix” results, sell exam papers or speed up certificates for a fee. Report such offers to integrity@kasneb.or.ke.

How to Get Help Fastest

  1. Have your registration number ready. Every KASNEB query about exams, fees or results starts with it.
  2. Use the student portal first for booking, payments and results, then contact KASNEB if something does not update.
  3. Pick the right email from the table above, and attach evidence such as a payment receipt or screenshot.
  4. Visit a Huduma desk if the problem needs documents checked in person.
  5. Escalate to complaints@kasneb.or.ke if you have not had an answer within a reasonable time, quoting your earlier email.

Common Questions Students Ask KASNEB

Entry requirements

KASNEB’s FAQ sets these minimums: a KCSE mean grade of C+ for professional courses such as CPA, C- for diploma courses, and D plain for the Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS). Post-professional courses need a KASNEB professional qualification or a university degree.

Exam sittings

KASNEB holds exams three times a year, in April, August and December.

Certificates

KASNEB says certificates are ready within four months of results for the qualification or part. You must collect yours in person. Or you can ask for it to be posted by emailing certificates@kasneb.or.ke with a copy of your national ID, your postal address and code, and your phone number. KASNEB does not issue copies of certificates. It can give a confirmation letter of your exam history instead.

Exemptions

Exemptions are granted paper by paper. You apply with supporting documents and pay the exemption fee set out in KASNEB’s exemption guide.

Budgeting for a KASNEB Course

KASNEB publishes its fee structure on its website under student resources. Check it before you register, because registration, exam and exemption fees are charged separately. For a wider look at what a finance or accounting path costs, see our cost of studying commerce in Kenya guide. University students funding a parallel course can check their loan status on the HELB student portal. And once you qualify, you can look for accounting and finance jobs on JobinKenya.
