Premier Credit loan products

Premier Credit is a credit-only microfinance lender. Its website lists these products:

  • Business loans for SMEs and traders.
  • Deduction at source loans for salaried employees whose employer has a check-off arrangement with Premier Credit, including civil servants.
  • Logbook loans, secured against your vehicle.
  • Pensioners loans, repaid from your pension.
  • Personal loans.
  • Partnership products run with partner organisations.

Interest rates and fees depend on the product and your profile, and Premier Credit does not publish one rate for all loans. Ask the branch for the annual percentage rate and the total cost of credit in writing before you sign. To compare repayments, use our loan calculators or the Sacco loan calculators to see what other lenders charge.

What you need to apply

  1. Your national ID and KRA PIN.
  2. Your latest payslips and bank statements for salaried and deduction at source loans, or business records and M-Pesa statements for business loans.
  3. The vehicle logbook and insurance for logbook loans.
  4. A pension statement for pensioners loans.

Visit the nearest branch or call the head office to start your application. If you are comparing digital lenders too, check our list of CBK licensed digital lenders before you borrow.
