1. Open the Jumia app or website and add the items you want.
2. Go to checkout and open the delivery section.
3. Set the region to Kajiado and choose your area, for example Kitengela, Ongata Rongai or Ngong.
4. Choose “Pickup Station” and scroll through the list. Each station shows its landmark, hours and fee.
5. Confirm the order. Jumia sends a message when the parcel reaches the station.

Take your ID or order number when you go to collect. Look over the item at the counter and report any problem through your Jumia account straight away.

Kitengela, Rongai or Ngong: which station is best?

Many Kajiado residents commute into Nairobi, so the best station is often on your route, not next to your house. If you use Magadi Road, a station in Rongai or Kiserian lets you collect on the way home. Kitengela commuters on the Namanga Road can pick one near the main stage. If you work in Nairobi CBD or along Mombasa Road, a Nairobi station may be faster, because parcels leave Jumia’s warehouse at Cabanas, Mombasa Road. Check what delivery to each option costs, since fees can differ.

Things to know before ordering

• Holding time is limited. Collect within the period stated in your SMS, or the parcel is returned.
• Big items. Agent shops may not take very large parcels such as fridges or furniture; Jumia may offer door delivery instead.
• Rural parts of Kajiado. Deliveries to Loitokitok, Kajiado town or Magadi can take longer than to Kitengela or Rongai.
• Payments. Pay only through the Jumia app, website or the options in your order. Do not send money to a phone number that calls claiming to be a rider.
