Which Nairobi Branch Should You Use?
- Westlands: convenient for Westlands, Parklands, Lavington and anyone visiting Westgate or Sarit. It shares a building with the head office, which helps when a query needs head office input.
- Mayfair Centre and New Upper Hill: both serve the Upper Hill business district, close to many corporate offices, hospitals and government agencies.
- Industrial Area: aimed at manufacturers, traders and logistics firms along Enterprise Road and the surrounding industrial zone.

From Mayfair Bank to CIB Kenya
According to the bank, it was founded in June 2017 as Mayfair Bank Limited, got its banking licence and started operating in August 2017. In December 2019, Commercial International Bank (CIB) Egypt agreed to buy a controlling interest, and after regulatory approvals it took a 51% stake in April 2020, when the bank became Mayfair CIB Bank. In January 2023, CIB Egypt bought the remaining 49%, which made the Kenyan bank its first wholly owned subsidiary outside Egypt, and it rebranded as CIB Kenya. The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) licenses and regulates it.

- Enter the amount and your M-Pesa PIN, then confirm.
You get an M-Pesa SMS straight away, and CIB sends its own SMS and email once the money reaches the account.
