KCA University charges fees per trimester, and the amount depends on your school, your programme and how many units you take. Most bachelor’s degrees cost between about KSh 52,565 and KSh 108,775 per trimester on the university’s published fee schedules, while certificate and diploma courses start at around KSh 28,405. Below are the official figures from KCA’s fee schedules, what each charge covers and the accounts you can pay into.

The figures come from three KCA documents: the School of Business fee schedule and the School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences fee schedule (both for the 2024-2025 academic year, revised December 2023), and the School of Technology fee structure published by the university in May 2026. KCA states that fee schedules are subject to review, so check the latest PDF on the university’s fees page before you pay.

How KCA University fees are calculated

Each trimester’s bill has two main parts:

  • Administration fees, which are higher in the first trimester (for example KSh 11,810 instead of KSh 9,510 for most business and technology degrees) because they include one-off registration costs.
  • Tuition, charged per unit. The unit rate ranges from KSh 7,000 for education and psychology courses to KSh 12,000 for actuarial science. The schedules assume a set number of units, so taking more or fewer units changes your bill.

Attachment, teaching practice or practicum is billed separately, usually at KSh 11,500.
