Private clinics, nursing homes and hospitals need KMPDC registration before opening. County health teams inspect premises against level-specific standards.

  • Professional licences for doctors, nurses and other cadres on site
  • Approved building plans
  • Pharmacy supervised by a qualified pharmacist or technologist (for hospital levels that require it)
  • Mortuary or body storage arrangements where the level requires them
  • Payment of KMPDC application, registration and annual fees
  1. Prepare premises to the standard for your intended level.
  2. Request county inspection.
  3. Apply on the KMPDC portal with supporting documents.
  4. Pay fees and await approval.
  5. Display the licence and keep professional practising licences current.

Fee bands: KMPDC fees.
