Tower Sacco, headquartered in Ol Kalou in Nyandarua County, is among the highest payers in the Kenyan Sacco sector. For 2025 it paid 20% on share capital and 13% on non-withdrawable deposits, the same rates as 2024. Members approved the payout at the Sacco’s 50th Annual General Meeting, held on 24 January 2026 at the Ol Kalou Catholic Parish grounds. Enter your own balance below to see your share.

Rates are what was last published, gross of tax. Money market funds are compounded monthly; bills, bonds, deposits and SACCO returns are worked out as simple interest. Your actual return will differ.

What Tower Paid in 2025 and 2024

Item 2025 2024
Dividend on share capital 20% 20%
Rebate on deposits 13% 13%
Interest paid on deposits KSh 2.56 billion KSh 2.06 billion
Total paid to members KSh 2.88 billion KSh 2.72 billion

The board’s report in the AGM booklet put the 2025 dividend bill at about KSh 327.2 million, which works out to KSh 20 on every share. Total assets rose 23% to KSh 34.6 billion, loans and advances rose 17% to KSh 25.2 billion, and revenue reached KSh 5.28 billion, up from about KSh 4.3 billion in 2024.

Why the Deposit Rebate Matters More Than the Dividend

The 20% headline sounds bigger, but at Tower the minimum share capital is low, so most members earn far more from the 13% rebate on their deposits. The figures show it: KSh 2.56 billion went out as deposit interest against roughly KSh 327 million in dividends. If you want a bigger payout, growing your monthly deposits is what moves the number.

Example: KSh 2,000 in shares and KSh 150,000 in deposits held all year would earn KSh 400 in dividend and KSh 19,500 in rebate, KSh 19,900 before tax and about KSh 18,900 after the 5% withholding tax.
