Updated 25 October 2026

This guide lists conference venues in Naivasha with the capacity and rates each venue publishes itself. Where a venue does not publish a figure, we say so rather than guess.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Sopa has four conference areas in two separate complexes, seating between 24 and 120 delegates theatre style. Each room has its own breakaway area for morning and afternoon tea. Equipment listed by the resort includes PA systems, projectors and LCD screens, flip charts, Wi-Fi and stationery. Sopa does not publish conference rates online.

Wildlife Research and Training Institute (WRTI)

WRTI, the state wildlife research institute in Naivasha, publishes a day conference package at KSh 3,480 per adult. It includes 10am and 4pm tea or coffee with snacks, fresh juice, two 500ml bottles of water per person, a branded pen and pad, a flip chart with markers, an LCD projector, a PA system on request, Wi-Fi, outdoor space for team building and a buffet lunch. It is one of the few Naivasha venues with a public price, which makes it useful for government and NGO budgets.

Naivasha West Beach Camp

This lakeside camp near Lake Oloiden has a tented conference hall for up to 50 participants. It publishes four packages, priced per person per day:

  • Full board conference or team building, KSh 7,000: bed and breakfast, buffet lunch with a soft drink and buffet dinner, tea breaks, water and stationery.
  • Half board conference or team building, KSh 5,500: bed, breakfast and buffet lunch with a soft drink, tea breaks, water and stationery.
  • Full day conference, KSh 2,500: buffet lunch, water, 10am and 4pm tea with snacks, and stationery.
  • Half day conference, KSh 2,000: one tea break, buffet lunch with a soft drink, water and stationery.

Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge

Simba Lodges markets its Naivasha lodge for conferences and team retreats, with a conference room and outdoor activities. It does not publish room capacity or rates, so ask for a quote.

How to compare conference quotes in Naivasha

  • Ask whether the quote is per person per day and whether it includes VAT and any levies.
  • Check what the day package includes: tea breaks, lunch, water, projector, PA system and Wi-Fi are often bundled, but breakaway rooms may cost extra.
  • Confirm the room’s capacity for your layout. A room that seats 150 theatre style may seat only 80 in classroom style.
  • For residential conferences, compare full board and half board, and ask about single room supplements.
  • Factor in transport. Several lakeside venues sit on Moi South Lake Road, some distance from Naivasha town, so budget for shuttles.
