All figures come from the college’s own website (programme pages, the admissions requirements page and the fees and financial aid page), checked on 19 October 2026. The fees are tuition only and are charged per semester of six months.

The nurse anaesthetist page also describes an 18-month course but lists the duration as 2 years. Confirm the mode and length with the admissions office before you plan your finances.

School of Nursing

The Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) is the main entry route for school leavers. It runs for three years, full time, with intakes in March and September. At KSh 65,000 per semester and two semesters a year, tuition alone comes to about KSh 390,000 over the full course, before accommodation, uniforms, exams and licensing costs.

The three nursing higher diplomas are for nurses who are already qualified:

  • Critical Care Nursing (KRCCN): advanced training in critical care, haemodynamic monitoring and life support. Two years.
  • Nurse Anaesthetist (KRNA): running since 2007 and focused on safe anaesthesia in surgical and critical care settings.
  • Perioperative Nursing (KRPON): planned for launch in 2026, with a September intake, for operating theatre practice.

Each costs KSh 115,000 per semester. Over two years that is about KSh 460,000 in tuition.

Clinical Medicine and Allied Health

The Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (KCMS) trains clinical officers over three years, with one intake a year in September, at KSh 65,000 per semester. Clinical officers who already hold a diploma or degree can take one of three 18-month higher diplomas in emergency and critical care, family health, or paediatric emergency and critical care, each at KSh 115,000 per semester with a March intake.

Allied Health covers perioperative theatre technology at certificate and diploma level, a one-year diploma upgrade for theatre technicians, the Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology, which trains technologists to maintain and repair hospital equipment, and a higher diploma in paediatric occupational therapy. The biomedical engineering class has an intake on 5 October 2026, according to the college’s homepage.
