Who Is Exempt From Nairobi National Park Entry Fees

The KWS 2025 fee schedule exempts these visitors from conservation fees:

  • Kenyan citizens aged 70 and older.
  • Persons with disability.
  • Children aged five years and younger.
  • Tour drivers, guides, boat crew and porters registered with the Tourism Regulatory Authority and members of a registered association (with the original licence, whose QR code is scanned).

KWS defines a child as five years and above but below 18. The student rate is for learners aged up to 23 from a recognised school, college or university visiting for education under an organised arrangement with the institution; it is not a discount for any student on a private visit.
