Padel in Nairobi: Every Court, Price and How to Book

Padel in Nairobi: Every Court, Price and How to Book

Updated 27 October 2026

A padel court in Nairobi costs between KSh 2,000 and KSh 5,000 an hour for the whole court, which works out at KSh 500 to KSh 1,250 each when four people split it. The cheapest published slot is BFit Karen’s weekday Power Hours (KSh 2,000 an hour, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm), and the most expensive is the show court at Networks Padel Village in Gigiri at peak time (KSh 5,000 an hour). Most clubs take bookings through the Playtomic app.

Padel has gone from a curiosity to a weekly habit for a lot of professionals in Westlands, Gigiri and Karen in a short time, and new courts keep opening. This guide lists the main clubs, what each one charges, when it is open and how to book, using only what the clubs publish themselves. Where a club does not publish a court price, we say so rather than guess.

The Weekend Ledger lists venues on merit. No venue paid to appear, and every price below comes from the venue’s own website or its official booking listing, checked on October 25, 2026. Prices change, so confirm in the booking app before you pay.

It is reached from Limuru Road opposite Redhill Junction, or from UN Crescent Road off UN Avenue, which makes it the obvious choice for people working at the UN complex and the embassies around Gigiri.

Racket and Rascals, New Muthaiga Mall

Racket and Rascals pairs padel with a café and a supervised soft play area for children aged one to four, so parents can play while the toddlers are minded in sight of the courts. It has two doubles courts and one singles court with glass walls.

  • Doubles: KSh 3,000 for 60 minutes or KSh 4,500 for 90 minutes. The club lists the same price for normal hours (8am to 5pm) and peak hours (5pm to 11pm).
  • Singles court: KSh 2,000 for 60 minutes or KSh 3,000 for 90 minutes, at any time.

Ole Sereni Duma Padel Court, Mombasa Road

The Ole Sereni hotel, which overlooks Nairobi National Park, has a single floodlit court on artificial turf. It is useful if you live on the Mombasa Road side of town or have a long layover near the airport. The hotel charges KSh 4,000 an hour, takes bookings from 5am to 10pm through the Matchpoint app, and arranges private coaching through the Duma Fitness front desk. The hotel’s main line is +254 732 191 000.

Westlands Clubs on Playtomic

The Padel Point Westlands on Jalaram Road has four indoor panoramic doubles courts and an indoor singles court, open 7am to 11pm daily, with parking, a store, a restaurant, changing rooms and lockers. Padel Kenya Westlands on Peponi Road has three roofed panoramic courts, also open 7am to 11pm, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before a slot and a strict non-marking shoe rule. Neither shows a court rate on its public listing, so check the app before you commit.

Playtomic also lists other Nairobi clubs, including Alloy Padel, PlayOn Padel on Rhapta Road, Padel Mania and Padel254. We will add them to this table once we can confirm their prices from an official source.

Padel Plus Sports, Karen

Padel Plus Sports on Bogani Road has two roofed courts and one outdoor court in a quiet, green setting, with free parking, equipment rental, changing rooms and a cafeteria. It opens 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 7pm on Sundays and holidays. Its court rate is not published, but its regular Americano tournaments cost KSh 2,000 a player.

How to Spend Less on Padel

  1. Play in the daytime. At BFit a weekday Power Hours slot costs half the peak rate, and Padel Village’s off-peak rate is KSh 1,000 less per hour than peak.
  2. Book 90 minutes, not two separate hours. Most groups find 90 minutes the right length, and you avoid paying for a second booking slot.
  3. Split four ways in the app. Playtomic lets each player pay a share, so one person does not carry the whole court fee.
  4. Buy a racket once you play weekly. At KSh 300 to KSh 450 a hire, someone playing once a week spends KSh 1,200 to KSh 1,800 a month on rentals alone.
  5. Try an Americano. Tournament entries of KSh 2,000 to KSh 3,000 usually cover two hours of games against rotating partners, which is good value for a single player.

What to Bring

  • Flat, non-marking court shoes. Running shoes with thick tread wear the turf and some clubs refuse them.
  • Water and a towel. Covered courts still get hot in the afternoon.
  • Your own balls if you play often. Clubs sell them by the can.
