These are the contacts on Easy Coach’s own website. Easy Coach routes all branch enquiries through the 0709 100 000 contact centre rather than publishing a separate line for every town, so this is the number to use whether you are calling about Kakamega, Nakuru, Bungoma, Migori or Nairobi.

Easy Coach branch contacts: Kakamega, Nakuru, Bungoma and Migori

Most searches for Easy Coach are for a specific town, such as “Easy Coach Kakamega contacts” or “Easy Coach Bungoma phone number”. Older web lists carry branch numbers that start with 0738 200 and 0726 354, but many of those were attached to supermarket booking desks that no longer exist. Easy Coach’s official site does not list them. To avoid calling a dead line or a stranger, call 0709 100 000 and ask for the branch you need. The agent can book you, give you the boarding point in that town and confirm departure times.

Easy Coach’s network is strongest in western Kenya, Nyanza and the Rift Valley. Towns travellers ask about most include Kisumu, Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Mumias, Eldoret, Kitale, Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay, Kericho and Nakuru.

How to book an Easy Coach ticket

  1. Online: go to the official Easy Coach website or app, choose your route and date, pick a seat and pay. Your ticket comes by SMS and email.
  2. By phone: call 0709 100 000, give your route, date and name, and pay through the official payment option the agent gives you.
  3. At a booking office: walk into an Easy Coach office with your ID. In Nairobi the main office is at the Railways Go-down on Haile Selassie Avenue.

Only pay through the official website, app, a booking office or the payment details given by the 0709 100 000 contact centre. Do not pay a personal number that calls or messages you claiming to be Easy Coach.

Changing or cancelling an Easy Coach ticket

Easy Coach’s published terms set out clear rules, which are worth knowing before you book:

  • Each ticket gets up to two free changes or cancellations, as long as you ask at least one hour before departure.
  • Requests made less than one hour before departure attract a 50% penalty on the ticket value. A third cancellation also attracts a 50% penalty, and any after that makes the ticket invalid.
  • A cancelled ticket stays valid for 30 days from the original travel date.
  • If you do not cancel before departure, the ticket is treated as a no-show and cannot be used or refunded.
  • To rebook, call 0709 100 000 and send a copy of your ID to call@easycoachkenya.com, or visit an office with your ID.

Sending parcels with Easy Coach

Easy Coach carries parcels to the towns on its network. Take the parcel to a booking office, where it is weighed and priced, and you get a waybill number. Share the waybill and the receiver’s phone number, and the receiver collects at the destination office with an ID. For parcel problems, email parcels@easycoachkenya.com with the waybill number, or call 0709 100 000.

Tips for travelling with Easy Coach

  • Book a day or two ahead on Fridays, Sundays, school opening and closing days and before public holidays.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure so your luggage can be tagged.
  • Keep your SMS ticket. The ticket number makes changes and refunds much faster.
  • If you send fare to someone through M-Pesa, check the fee with our M-Pesa charges calculator.
