Hazina Sacco Society was registered in 1971 under the Co-operative Societies Act and is a deposit-taking Sacco with members across the country. Hazina announced an upgrade to its office telephone numbers, so older numbers you may find online, such as those ending 2150238, may no longer be the best way to reach the Sacco. How to pay Hazina Sacco
By M-Pesa paybill
- Open M-Pesa and choose Lipa na M-Pesa, then Paybill.
- Enter business number 850436.
- For the account number, enter your ID number followed by the code for the account you are paying, for example 12345678DEP for deposits.
- Enter an amount between KSh 10 and KSh 150,000, then your M-Pesa PIN.
- Check the details and confirm.
If you are not sure which code to use for a loan, welfare or share payment, call the loans desk on 0712 149 631 before paying. A wrong code puts money in the wrong account, and moving it takes a written request.
By bank deposit
Pay into Co-operative Bank, Nairobi Business Centre branch, account name Hazina Sacco, account number 01120000553600. Use your ID number and the account code as the reference, exactly as you would on M-Pesa. Keep the deposit slip until the payment shows on your statement.
How to reach Hazina customer care fastest
- For loans, call 0712 149 631 directly instead of the switchboard. It goes straight to the loans team.
- For FOSA questions such as salary processing, ATM cards and withdrawals, call 0727 086 480.
- For anything in writing, such as complaints, refunds, statements and exit requests, email customercare@hazinasacco.or.ke with your member number in the subject line.
- Members outside Nairobi should start with the nearest branch line. Branch staff can take your documents and send them to head office.
