A coworking day pass in Nairobi costs KSh 2,000 to KSh 2,500 plus VAT, and a monthly hot desk costs KSh 11,000 to KSh 22,500 plus VAT, based on the prices that Nairobi Garage, Ikigai and TuWork publish. Nairobi Garage’s Club Space is the cheapest monthly option at KSh 11,000 plus VAT, TuWork in Lavington has the cheapest day pass at KSh 2,000 plus taxes, and Ikigai charges the most but includes 24/7 access to all five of its locations.
Nairobi has become a common base for remote workers, consultants and people on regional postings, and a good desk is often the first thing they need. This guide compares the published prices, hours and booking routes of the main coworking operators. Where a provider does not list a price, we say “not published” rather than repeat a figure from a third party.

Nairobi Garage
Nairobi Garage is one of the oldest coworking brands in the city, now with spaces in Westlands, Kilimani, Spring Valley and Karen. Its Westlands space is on the 4th floor of Delta Corner Annex, Ring Road Westlands, off Waiyaki Way, and lists opening hours of 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 10pm on weekends.
- Club Space (hot desk): KSh 11,000 a month plus VAT, with 24/7 access, high-speed internet, tea and coffee, and presentation equipment.
- Fixed Desk: KSh 25,000 a month plus VAT, adding your own desk, branding rights, secure storage and 10 meeting-room hours a month.
- Day passes: sold online, but the current site does not show the price.
- Meeting rooms (Westlands): KSh 1,500 an hour for 1 to 3 people, KSh 2,000 for 2 to 4, KSh 2,500 for 6 to 8 and KSh 3,000 for 10 to 15. A 1 to 3 person room is KSh 10,000 a day and a 2 to 4 person room KSh 12,000.

Ikigai
Ikigai runs garden-style spaces with standing desks, booths, outdoor seating, specialty coffee bars, showers, prayer rooms and mother’s rooms, and members also get free yoga and meditation sessions. It has five locations: Peponi Road (Westlands), The Piano on Brookside Drive, 90 JGO on James Gichuru Road (Lavington), 107 Lower Kabete Road and Merchant Square on Riverside Drive.
- Day pass: KSh 2,500 plus VAT, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with house tea and coffee, Wi-Fi and free parking. A copy of your physical ID is required.
- Monthly membership: KSh 22,500 plus VAT, with 24/7 access to all locations and two free meeting-room hours a month.
- Team rate: KSh 16,750 per person a month plus VAT for teams of four or more.
- Private workspace: KSh 26,500 a month.

TuWork, Lavington
TuWork is at Tuwork Park on Olenguruone Road, Lavington, with outdoor garden workspaces, free parking and a terrace bar. It states that there are no hidden charges beyond the listed prices.
- Daily pass: KSh 2,000 plus taxes, Monday to Friday. The pass page says 8am to 6pm, while the contact page lists weekday hours of 8:30am to 6pm, so arrive after 8:30am to be safe.
- Bundles: 5 days for KSh 8,000 or 10 days for KSh 16,000, plus taxes, valid for 30 days from first use. Note that the bundles work out at KSh 1,600 a day, cheaper than the single pass.
- Communal Desk: KSh 15,000 a month plus taxes, with 24/7 access, four free meeting-room hours a month and discounted day passes and printing. A one-month deposit applies.

KOFISI
KOFISI is a pan-African workspace group headquartered at Keystone Park, 95 Riverside Drive, and it recently announced KOFISI Kaskazi, a new 85,000 sq ft centre in Nairobi. Day Pass vs Monthly: When to Switch
At TuWork, nine single day passes a month cost KSh 18,000 before tax, more than its KSh 15,000 Communal Desk, so the monthly plan wins from about the eighth day. At Ikigai, five day passes (KSh 12,500) already cost more than a month of Nairobi Garage Club Space (KSh 11,000). As a rough rule, if you use a coworking space more than six to eight days a month, a monthly hot desk is cheaper than day passes.
