A Tax Compliance Certificate shows KRA considers your filings and payments in order for the certificate period. Tenders, some licences and many employers ask for it.

Steps on iTax

  1. Log in at itax.kra.go.ke.
  2. Open the Tax Compliance Certificate application.
  3. Confirm your taxpayer details and submit.
  4. If iTax lists missing returns or unpaid tax, clear those first, then apply again.
  5. Download the PDF when status shows issued. Note the expiry date.

Need a PIN first? See how to get a KRA PIN. Job seekers can keep the TCC with their ID and good conduct file when applying on jobinkenya.co.ke.
