You can reset your M-PESA PIN yourself in a few steps.

Steps

  1. Dial *334#.
  2. Select My Account.
  3. Select M-PESA PIN Manager.
  4. Select M-PESA Forgot PIN (or PIN Unlock).
  5. Enter your ID/passport number and answer your security questions, then follow the prompts.

If it fails

Call 100 or 234, or DM Safaricom Care. Safaricom says it only calls from 0722000000 (Safaricom Care on X (20 Jul 2026)). Never share your PIN.
