How to Use This Directory
Type part of a name, such as “Kenyatta”, “KMTC Nakuru” or “polytechnic”, and the list narrows as you type. You can also search by course: type “actuarial” or “nursing” and you will see every university offering a matching programme, with the matching programmes opened and their cut-offs shown. Use the county filter to see every institution near home, and the type filter to compare like with like. Clear resets everything.
The directory runs in your browser from a single data file, so filtering is instant and works on slow connections once the page has loaded.

We grouped the types from the official KUCCPS categories: “KMTC Campus” covers institutions under the Ministry of Health, “University TVET” covers technical institutes run by universities, and “Specialised College” covers colleges under other ministries, such as Kenya Utalii College, Kenya School of Law and the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.

Where the Data Comes From
The institution list, with names, codes, categories, ownership and counties, comes from the KUCCPS institutions list, retrieved on 17 October 2026. University programme names and cut-off points come from each university’s KUCCPS institution page for the 2026/2027 cycle, retrieved the same day. Cut-offs are weighted cluster points out of 48. When we checked, KUCCPS had not yet declared 2026/2027 programmes for colleges, including KMTC and TVET institutes, so colleges show no programme list yet. We will refresh the data when KUCCPS publishes them.
Cut-offs change every year. Use them to judge your chances, then confirm on the KUCCPS portal before you apply. To work out your own points, use our KUCCPS cluster points calculator.
