Sigona Golf Club Membership Fees 2026: An Easy, Complete Guide

Sigona Golf Club membership fees from May 1, 2026 are KSh 970,000 for Ordinary Membership, with a subscription of KSh 6,425 a month or KSh 77,095 a year, and KSh 1,239,000 for Joint Ordinary Membership, with KSh 7,680 a month or KSh 92,164 a year. Non-golfers can take a Social (Non-Playing) membership from KSh 385,000, companies pay KSh 530,000 for a single corporate membership, and expatriates can join for USD 2,000 a year. You need a proposer and a seconder who are members.

Updated November 2026. Fees were checked on November 2, 2026 on Sigona Golf Club’s own Membership page, which says the rates apply from May 1, 2026. The same page’s FAQ still quotes an older KSh 810,000 Ordinary fee, so confirm the figure in writing when you apply.

Sigona Golf Club Membership Fees in Year One

Our own sums of the published fees, before the minimum spend, bar bills and competitions:

Category Year 1 (joining fee plus annual subscription) Later years
Ordinary KSh 1,047,095 KSh 77,095
Joint Ordinary KSh 1,331,164 KSh 92,164

Paying monthly costs slightly more: twelve monthly payments of KSh 6,425 come to KSh 77,100, KSh 5 more than the annual figure for Ordinary members. Add the KSh 2,500 minimum spend and an Ordinary member commits to at least KSh 30,000 a year in the clubhouse as well.

Which Category of Sigona Golf Club Membership Fees Fits You

  • Ordinary: full golf and clubhouse privileges and voting rights, for one person.
  • Joint Ordinary: full golf and social privileges for both spouses, with voting rights.
  • Social/Non-Playing: for non-golfers who want the dining, social calendar and network. Single members must be 18 or over and cannot vote.
  • Corporate: a company buys membership for its nominee, in single or joint form. It is about KSh 440,000 cheaper to join than Ordinary, with the same subscription.
  • Expatriate: foreign residents on assignment pay USD 2,000 a year rather than a large entrance fee.

  2. Find a proposer and a seconder from the current membership list.

  5. Pay the Sigona Golf Club membership fees (joining fee and first subscription) once you are approved.

Playing Sigona as a Visitor

Sigona says non-members with an active golf handicap can book selected tee times on specific days, while members get priority and have exclusive use of the course on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The club did not publish a visitor green-fee table when we checked, so ask the golf office for the current rate. No handicap yet? Read how to get a golf handicap in Kenya. The pro shop hires out full club sets and carts.

The course is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout about 20 minutes from Nairobi along the Nairobi-Naivasha highway (A104). The club also runs junior golf camps, a ladies’ section and Sigona Golf Suites, where bed and breakfast starts from KSh 4,500 and full board from KSh 6,500.

Sigona vs Other Clubs Near Nairobi

Sigona is cheaper to join than Royal Nairobi Golf Club, whose full membership is KSh 1,200,000, but its annual subscription is higher. Compare it with Muthaiga Golf Club membership fees and Karen Country Club membership fees, and see every course near the city in our golf clubs in Kenya guide.
