KMTC Kisumu Contacts and Nyanza Campuses: Phone, Email and Address

KMTC Kisumu Contacts and Nyanza Campuses: Phone, Email and Address

Updated 27 October 2026

KMTC Kisumu contacts, plus the other Nyanza-region Kenya Medical Training College campuses, are published by KMTC in its official campus contacts list (February 2026 PDF). This page gathers the postal address, email and phone numbers for Kisumu, Homa Bay, Bondo, Lake Victoria and Kombewa, and explains how applications still go through KUCCPS and KMTC rather than through campus WhatsApp rumours.

Updated October 2026. Source: KMTC Campus Contacts February 2026 PDF on kmtc.ac.ke. Course lists per campus are not in that contacts PDF, so this page does not invent them. Cross-check applications on kmtc.ac.ke and the KUCCPS portal.

KMTC Kisumu contacts and the Nyanza campuses at a glance

Campus Postal address Email Official phone
Kisumu P.O. Box 1594-40100, Kisumu Use the campus email on the current KMTC PDF (listed beside Kisumu; confirm on kmtc.ac.ke if the PDF row looks swapped) 020-7855002 / 0708 668923
Homa Bay P.O. Box 512-40300, Homa Bay homabay@kmtc.ac.ke 020 2416914 / 0732 502032
Bondo P.O. Box 473-40601, Bondo bondo@kmtc.ac.ke 020 2584683 / 0707 207841
Lake Victoria P.O. Box 2268-40100, Kisumu lakevictoria@kmtc.ac.ke 020 2584613 / 0759 061689
Kombewa P.O. Box 11-40102, Kombewa kombewa@kmtc.ac.ke 0784 820887

The February 2026 PDF is the source for every number above. KMTC updates campus contacts from time to time; if a call fails, re-download the PDF from kmtc.ac.ke rather than trusting a forwarded flyer.

Note on Kisumu email: the February 2026 PDF row for Kisumu shows a phone pair of 020-7855002 / 0708668923. Treat the PDF as authoritative for phones; if the email cell looks inconsistent next to other campuses, confirm on the live KMTC site or by calling the published phone before you send documents.

Which campus for which need

Parents and applicants usually start from location and transport, not from a marketing slogan:

  • Kisumu campus sits in Kisumu city and is the long-established training centre many Nyanza applicants ask for first.
  • Lake Victoria campus is also in Kisumu County (Angawa Avenue area in public campus profiles) and uses a separate postal box and phones in the PDF.
  • Homa Bay campus serves applicants who want to train nearer Homa Bay town.
  • Bondo campus is the Siaya County option on the Bondo side.
  • Kombewa campus covers the Kombewa area off the Kisumu–Bondo corridor.

For the national map of campuses, use our KMTC campuses list by county. For intake timing and entry grades, see KMTC intake 2026/2027 and best KMTC courses by grade.

How to apply (not through a broker)

KMTC selections for government-sponsored diploma and certificate seats run through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) in the published windows, and KMTC also runs its own application channels for some programmes as announced on kmtc.ac.ke. Campuses do not create a parallel “WhatsApp admission” path. If someone asks for a deposit to “secure Homa Bay” or “fix Kisumu”, treat it as a red flag.

  1. Confirm the intake notice on kmtc.ac.ke or the KUCCPS student portal.
  2. Prepare the academic documents those notices list (KCSE results slip or certificate, ID, and any programme-specific items).
  3. Use only the official portals to submit choices or applications.
  4. After placement or admission letters, call the campus using the PDF numbers above for reporting dates and fee payment instructions.

HELB support for eligible KMTC students is separate from campus contacts. See our HELB KMTC loan guide if you need the loan process.

Nearby campuses often confused with Nyanza

Applicants sometimes mix Nyanza campuses with neighbouring ones that appear in the same PDF:

  • Siaya (P.O. Box 465-40600, siaya@kmtc.ac.ke, 0748 032675) is listed separately from Bondo.
  • Migori (P.O. Box 58-40400, migori@kmtc.ac.ke, 0705 020381) sits south of the lake basin.
  • Ndhiwa (P.O. Box 280-40302, ndhiwa@kmtc.ac.ke, 0723 441509) is another Homa Bay County campus in the PDF.
  • Rachuonyo (P.O. Box 148-40222 Oyugis, rachuonyo@kmtc.ac.ke, 0748 034396) is also listed.

Those extra rows are quoted from the same February 2026 PDF so you can dial the right principal’s office. They are not a ranking and they are not a course list.

What this page deliberately leaves out

The contacts PDF does not publish per-campus course catalogues or fees. Publishing guessed course lists would mislead applicants. When KMTC or KUCCPS publish programme tables for a named campus, those belong in a dated refresh of this page or in the intake guide linked above.
