Frequently asked questions
How do I know a loan app is licensed?
Check the company behind it in CBK’s Directory of Digital Credit Providers, and make sure the app’s developer name on Google Play matches. See our list of all 281 licensed lenders.
Why is my loan app missing?
We list only apps whose developer matches a CBK-licensed company and that publish their terms. Apps run by banks or microfinance banks (for example Branch, which is a microfinance bank) are not digital credit providers.
